  A line of the zone file cannot be read.

  The evidence gives the line number and the reason: an unknown record type, record data that does not fit the type (such as an A record without an IPv4 address), a name that is too long, or a quote or parenthesis that is not closed. A zone loader such as BIND or Knot refuses the zone or skips the line.
